July 23rd update - My game doesn't show the latest updates

First thing I notice was that something definitely happened as I couldn't use the game yesterday, today when I try to open the game, it opened but didn't have any of my save files or mods. (I'm technically a new Simmer as I couldn't play for years until a few weeks ago that I got a laptop I could run the game, so I didn't know anything about backing up modes or saves - just wanting to point that out). I know now and I don't know how but then they were working but I notice the latest patch is not in my game, I don't have the eyelashes nor any of the other new additions. 

I went to see if it didn't download but it says that there's nothing to update, that I'm up to date. So I don't know how can I fix that. :(

PLEASE HELP! I DONT WANT TO UNISTALL AND RE INSTALL :(
