Live mode is unplayable

I have not played The Sims in a couple of months so when I got my gaming laptop back (a Lenovo that I've had absolutely no problem playing the Sims on before) I've seen a few people have this issue before and they've been able to get help on here so I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what to do. I have already reset my entire laptop itself, removed all of my mods and deleted and reinstalled the game multiple times. I'm at my wits end. My save files are completely fine and everything else seems to be running perfectly but the game itself won't stop glitching
