when i start my sims 4 the setting on the page is darker and have multiple white lines randomly on the screen and nothing is where its supossed to be. i've uninstalled the game multiple times, repaired it, got rid of all my cc and it still wont work.
Lolaloveschica9 Please provide a dxdiag. Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Not to hijack the thread sorry but I have just updated my Sims 4 and have had the same issue. I have done as you suggested above. Please see attached.
MattyDucati Thanks for the dxdiag, which makes the Sims 4 issue clear: your laptop's graphics driver is from 2018 and likely not compatible with Sims 4. You can install the newest driver for your processor and graphics chip that AMD offers:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
Separately, your dxdiag shows that Norton is crashing repeatedly. I'd suggest uninstalling it and (if you want to keep it around) reinstalling.
