Hello!
I have heard that playing with DX11 increases performance and reduces lag for the sims 4 and I wanted to test it and play with DX11. Unfortunately, whenever I play with DX11, at random time the laptop freezes completely with no way to exit the game with shortcuts. I do not have this problem with DX9.
My video card is Nvidia Geforce GTX 3050.

arlebina Please disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.
If that alone doesn't help, try playing in DirectX 9 mode, which is an option with the other graphics settings.

arlebina To be clear, you're playing with the laptop plugged in? If not, please try that.
If you get another crash, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

arlebina All of the errors in your dxdiag are crashes of the graphics driver, or one of them. So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the Nvidia driver, as described here:

Additionally, when you play Sims 4, do you always have the laptop plugged in? Running on battery may force it to switch to the Intel iGPU to preserve battery life, which could cause the game to freeze under the wrong circumstances.
