It's also worth searching your computer with an outside tool in case the files are hiding somewhere.  I would suggest using Everything, from VoidTools, which is free and reliable and highly efficient.  Search for Slot_ and see what turns up.

Please also let me know where your game is installed, according to the EA App.  You can see the location in the App, under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.
