Packs not loading in game but shown as owned in EA App

I have yet to update my game to the latest 3/17 patch, especially after seeing the issues occurring with Mods/CC. I was logged into my game this morning just fine (pre-patch), exited to download something, and then went into offline mode before logging back in - when I logged back in on offline mode, my game is now saying that I don’t own any of the packs and therefore cannot play in my save. 

I often play offline when there are patch updates until the mods I use have been updated, and have never once come across this problem before, I’ve always been able to access my saves, and all packs owned. Can anyone help me? I don’t want to update yet but now my saves are unplayable since the game isn’t registering the packs I own. When I check within the EA App it registers that I own them, the problem is just when I log into the game, the game is not registering my owned content. 

I also tried opening the game with all mods removed, cleared game cache as well as ea app cache, and nothing is helping.

    The most frustrating part is that I didn’t even update my game. I turned on offline mode to avoid this mess of an update, and it still messed up my game!!! Whenever I try to access my save it says I don’t own anything besides base game (even though I own most of the packs) and kicks me out of the save completely! 
    Has to be a way to force players into updating and/or buying from the new marketplace. Too convenient not to be. I’ve been playing this game since the sims 1 and have never had issues like this

    Same thing is happening to me because I just bought Adventure Awaits last night and the pack says I own it, but the town is inaccessible.  I removed mods and am trying to repair the game before adding the mods back.  I had another glitch I had to fix before this where I couldn’t interact with anything apart from the sim I was currently playing as.  Every time this game updates there is some sort of glitch and it’s annoying!

    I saw somewhere else that repairing may fix it but I understand I can’t repair without updating (which I’m trying to currently avoid) 🙄 how frustrating that we can’t even play our games atm

    Chelsea3abc​  This isn't normal and shouldn't be intentional.  The usual fix is to clear the EA App's cache and repair the game.  Unfortunately, repairing will update at the same time, and even just clearing the cache may mean you can't play offline without playing online once first.  So the only other thing I can suggest is to give it some time to (hopefully) resolve itself.

    Is this specific issue happening to others as well? Doesn’t have to do with mods or CC - my game is trying to say that I don’t own packs that I actually do own, while trying to play in offline mode (doing this to avoid the update).

    There is no fix to anything right now unfortunately. All we can do is wait... Super unfortunate.
