  • amelie2327  I'm so glad to hear that.  The setting is probably on by default because the motherboard manufacturer wants its customers to get as much performance out of their hardware as possible.  The problem is that the settings often push things too far—there's a very small difference between maximum performance and an unstable overclock.  It's a common issue these days.

The next time you install a BIOS update, try turning the setting on again and see what happens.  It's possible a future update will fix the issue, and now that you know where to find the setting, it's an easy test.

  • OMG!!! its work!!! thank you!

i forgot about the fact i've change my mother board and cpu and probleme start aroud that time.😅🤦‍♀️

    so cpu boost off.

i wonder why its on by default, btw? its should be off!

  • amelie2327  Please try disabling CPU Turbo Boost in your BIOS.  The option will probably be buried in Advanced settings and may be called something slightly different, but "Turbo" should be in its name.

If you get another crash, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
