I do. Scads and oodles of them. I also attempted to uninstall and reinstall, without success.
Try closing the game fully, move the saves folder out of the EA folder to your desktop. Then start the game.
The game will create a new saves folder.
Close the game again, and put one of the save files in the new save folder (make sure it's not slot_00000001.save, because that's the auto-save).
Check if that save file will show up in game.Thank you for trying, but it's still a no-go. The game did make a new save directory, but putting a file in there didn't force it to do anything. Still can't start a new one, or continue an old one.
Try right clicking the game in Origin, and choose 'repair game'.
Can you make a back up of your files:
http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/backups/And then try saving the game with a new file, see if that triggers the old files to show again.
I did try the repair game, but had no luck there either. Will try the other option you have listed. 🙂
It's mostly that you create a new family and move them in, they don't have to be perfect, it's just to test.
Make sure you close the game fully when you've done that, and restart it, see if the old saves are back.

I'm having a similar problem, but all my old saves are there.
When I click the new game button, it doesn't do anything.
I'm also having trouble with pop-ups. When I open the gallery and view something from the gallery, then try to close out, my screen is stuck on the gallery, grayed out.
I waited a long time, and no luck.Help?
I found out what was affecting my game. I started to create a family and left without finishing. For whatever reason, it held me there until I completed putting one together.
@Sapphire199Gem could you create your own post? I would also like to know if you are using any mods or CC and if you tested the game without?
Hi,
With my game whenever I try to start a new game I don't get the plumbob loading screen and it just goes white but I do still get the music. I've tried the method that you suggested down below but that hasn't worked for me. I have also contacted the EA help centre multiple times and nothing has really worked, besides uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. After reinstalling the game I can start a new game. When I was able to get into CAS I remembered that I need to CC so I closed CAS via, the main menu and then exit the game. Then when I try to go back to CAS the screen goes back to white and with the music.
Do you think this is a problem with my CC?
@poppymireille Yes, the issue is probably your custom content. If you have a lot of it to sort through, the 50/50 method can speed up the process.

Thank you so much for helping me, I'll give it a try not
