Re: URGENT Red, white and question marks on my Sims.

Do you have any CC? Try taking that out.

Also could you share a picture?

    Hi,

    What is a "CC"?

I also don't know how to send in a picture.

    Thanks for your help

CC = Custom content = Third party content.

Try right clicking on the game and choose repair game.

Why doesn't right click work ? Do you not get the repair option or didn't repair work ?

Ever since the game updated with the toddlers all toddlers look like that no matter what i do. I cant find any solution (none of the thing you all said worked) i dont have a mac but it has always worked great. Does anyonw think it could maybe be related to the fact i dont have ny expansion packs? I was told that someone thought that but i dont think so because i got the update for free, no expansion pack needed. Anyways, has anyone been able to fix theirs? Please help tmy toddlers are scary lol. Thanks so much!<3

Do you have any custom content that your toddlers are wearing? If so, delete the custom content from your game. This happened to me right after I downloaded some custom content, and the sim looked REALLY creepy (I've been having nightmares about her). I deleted the hair I was using, and I never had that problem afterwards. Hope this helped ☺

    Hi,

I have no CC and I repaired and uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it did nothing.

  • Hi, it's me again,

For me, these red and white dots on my sims are only happening when my sim is wearing something involving the Get To Work pack. And I don't know why?

    Hi @Klaramira

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
