craftysimss The "portable" version doesn't need to be formally installed. Portable in this case means you can drag the app around and it'll still work fine. This is useful for IT types trying to fix other people's computers but also convenient in general in that you don't need to do anything special to move or uninstall the app. So choose that one if you like, but it doesn't matter for the purpose of my suggestion.
So I am honestly nervous to do this process due to the warnings, is there something else I could do?
