Sims 4 Dlc needs downloading

i own some dlc on steam and some on the ea in the past i had no issue playing with my dlc pack but now i cant get em to work right

    schultzkid92​  You clearly have multiple copies of Sims 4 installed, which is probably the source of your inability to use the packs you've installed.  So please clear out everything with Revo Uninstaller, as described in the accepted solution of this thread:

    Reinstall the game only through Steam, and download any packs you own there.  Then open the EA App and download the packs you own there, but NOT a second copy of the base game.  Everything should install into the Steam version as if you owned it in Steam.

    schultzkid92​  Please uninstall the EA App version of Sims 4, if you currently have it installed, and download the game only through Steam.  Download your Steam-owned packs too, then open the EA App and download only the packs you own there, not another copy of the base game.  Your EA-owned packs should load with the Steam-owned base game as if you'd installed them through Steam.

    If this doesn't work correctly, please let me know how: whether you were able to do all these steps and what the outcome was.  If you get an error, please post a screenshot of it.
