Sims 4 not launching/freezing

Ever since the new update Businesses and Hobbies, the sims hasn't been able to run or launch properly. I have tried removing all my mods, verifying game files, putting the sims 4 folder on my desktop, resetting my computer (wiping it clean without removing my files), uninstalling and reinstalling the game numerous times, everything under the sun. The game launches, then flashes my screen in black and white before freezing to a white screen that stays eternally loading. If not that, then it will open the game but the game freezes on a popup about the new update and I cant interact with anything so I have to force shut the game. Please I need help I have been trying to fix this for weeks and to no avail at this point I am going to have to give up playing the sims entirely.
