Sims 4 not letting me pass the EA Terms after signing up for EA Play

I signed up for EA Play so I could use The Get to Work DLC. After signing up, my Sims 4 would not open. I only received a notification to approve the EA terms and conditions but no matter how many times I tried clicking on it, it does not move passed or allow me to open Sims 4. I've removed all of my mods, un-installed both Sims 4 files and reinstalled and nothing is working. EA does not open the Sims 4, nor does Steam. Now it won't even let me play the base game that had zero problems before signing up for EA Play so I have NO access to my game. Please please help.

    stoneysag  Please open the EA App by itself and see whether you get the same terms and conditions pop-up.  If you don't, try launching Sims 4 from within your App game library.  If you can't click to accept the T&C, try clicking around that button, in its vicinity, as if the icon for the button were slightly off.

    If that doesn't help either, disable any apps you use that come with overlays, for example Discord.  Disable the Steam in-game overlay, either in general or for Sims 4, and the EA App overlay (Settings > Application) as well.

    Thank you so much! For some reason this morning it opened up right away after approving the terms and conditions so yay!! I appreciate your help!
