Sims 4 saves are gone, EA app is broken.

To start, after I finally got the EA app to let me open the sims 4, all of my saves were completly erased. In addition, after closing the game to try and restart it, the EA app refuses to believe I have closed it, so I have to keep restarting my computer in order to get the EA app to listen to me. But, once I enter and exit the game, the same thing happens.
