Sims 4 Won't Open
For roughly 4 days now I haven't been able to open my game. I have tried removing the mods folder removing the sims 4 folder running a dxdiag scan restarting my computer restarting the ea app ...
BanjoLux In general, repairing should be faster and as reliable as reinstalling. The option is in the EA App, under Sims 4 > Manage; or in Steam, it's called "Verify integrity of the game files" and should be somewhere under Properties.
This sounds like an antivirus-related issue, so try repairing the game and setting exceptions for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64, or the entire Bin folder they're in. Set an exception for EADesktop.exe as well, whether you play through Steam or the EA App. I'm not sure from your wording whether you launch through Steam or merely have the accounts linked.
