Diana2103 Despite the wording of the error, this is typically caused by an overactive antivirus blocking the game. So please set exceptions in yours for TS4_x64.exe and EADesktop.exe, plus TS4_DX9_x64 or TS4_x64_fpb if you use the DirectX 9 or Memory Boost version of the game, respectively.
Even if you only use Windows Defender, Controlled Folder Access could still trigger the error.
