@xx_girlmonkey_x Restart your computer, don't open Origin yet, and clear its cache:

Then launch Origin and see whether your can play. You may need to repair one more time: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
ive already done that and its already trying to repair it does it every time I open origin and it doesn't let me cancel it
@xx_girlmonkey_x Try disabling automatic game updates in Origin: hover over your username, select Application Settings, and under Application (the first header), scroll down to Client update and disable auto game updates. Then clear Origin's cache again and see whether you can play.
i did that already
@xx_girlmonkey_x Clear Origin's cache again, then manually uninstall it:

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/
Restart your computer, download the full Origin installer, and run it as an admin: right-click on the installer and select "Run as administrator." This is a direct download link:
http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe
Run Origin as an admin as well, but don't do anything yet; just see whether it tries to verify or repair your Sims 4 files. If it does, please wait at least ten minutes to see whether it finishes.
ok I did that it didn't do it automatically this time do I try to update the sims 4 again?
@xx_girlmonkey_x You can try to update, yes. If it doesn't work, start from the beginning, but try repairing instead of updating.
now i cant even start the update when i go under my games the thumbnail is just an outline and i cant play it either
@xx_girlmonkey_x It sounds like Origin isn't loading your data properly. Does clearing its cache again help? If not, can you try a different connection, for example using your phone as a mobile hotspot? (Make sure it's using data, not your home wifi.) The point is not to permanently use a different connection, just to test whether this is the issue.
i think i cleared the cache wrong wich messed it up im going to try putting the disk in and see if that will help
