WASD and arrow keys not working for navigation

Since the Update that i installed a few days ago, the WASD and Arrow keys wont work for the navigation of the camera. i have tried reparing the game, i have tried redownloading it, i have tried reset...

I use the sims 3 game camera and with that I can use WASD to move side to side or up and down, but to twirl my view around, I have to hold down Control on my keyboard while I have my left mouse button down and moving the view or tilting it with my mouse. 

I am not sure if this is what you were looking for but I thought I would post just in case because I truly couldn't play until I figured it out. I hope you sort it out soon one way or another!
