Game freezes and shuts down my iPad

Since the last update I cannot do anything without the game freezing up within minutes and I get a pink screen. My iPad won’t respond and I have to do a hard restart to get it working again. My iPad works perfectly fine with any other applications I go into and play. I cannot complete the crafting quest. I can’t go anywhere in the game.
