EA SPORTS FC 26 – FPS drops and disconnections during Rivals matches (PC)

Hello,

I’ve been playing EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC (Steam + EA App), and since the release I’ve been having serious problems during online matches, especially in Rivals.

The game runs perfectly in menus (100–200 FPS) and even in offline modes like Squad Battles (70–80 FPS), but whenever I play a Rivals match, the FPS randomly drops to 2–5 FPS, or sometimes I get disconnected with a “Match under review” message.

After that, when I return to the main menu, the performance stays very low (around 7 FPS) until I completely restart the game.

My drivers and system are up to date, and the same setup worked perfectly with FC 25 — so this issue clearly started with FC 26.

I just wanted to report this clearly so the developers can investigate, because at the moment Rivals is practically unplayable on PC.

If anyone else experiences the same issue, please comment below so EA can see how many players are affected.
