Unable to Connect to Ultimate Team on EA FC 26 (PS5)

Hello everyone,

 

I’ve been experiencing a persistent issue in EA FC 26 on PS5 where I am unable to connect to Ultimate Team, even though every other online mode in the game works perfectly. I get the message:

 

> “Unable to connect to Ultimate Team at the moment.”

 

 

 

The game tries to load for a few seconds and then fails every time.

What I Have Already Tried

 

I’ve done all the standard troubleshooting steps, including:

 

Restarted game and console

 

Reinstalled EA FC 26

 

Tested and rebuilt PS5 database

 

Cleared saved data and cache

 

Reset network, changed DNS, switched Wi-Fi/mobile hotspot

 

Logged out and back into my EA account

 

Tried different PSN accounts on the same console

 

Verified my EA account has no bans or security issues

 

I can access Ultimate Team through the Web App normally, so the account is active

 

Connection test shows NAT Type 2 and stable internet

 

 

None of these worked.

Why I Believe This Might Be an Account-Specific Restriction

 

From searching online and inside the EA subreddit, other players reported similar issues:

 

Some players were temporarily blocked from UT after quitting many matches (“DNF penalties”), and the mode stopped loading even after the DNF timer ended.

 

Others mentioned that silent/automatic restrictions can happen when EA’s system detects abnormal disconnections.

 

A few said the issue was caused by server-side account flags, not their console or internet.

 

Several users could play all online modes except Ultimate Team, just like me.

 

Some reported the problem being resolved only after EA Support manually reviewed their EA account.

 

 

Because I can log into UT on the Web App, but cannot enter UT on console, this strongly suggests:

 

✔ The issue is not with my PS5

✔ The issue is not with my network

✔ The issue is likely server-side or account-related

What I Need Help With

 

I would like EA to:

 

1. Check if my EA account has any hidden restrictions, flags, or integrity blocks related to match quitting / DNF penalties.

 

 

2. Confirm if there is any backend issue preventing my console access to Ultimate Team.

 

 

3. If needed, manually reset whatever is blocking access to UT on my account.

Issue started recently without any change in my setup.
