Hi efalex01
do you have this issue on a specific save only or also on one that never had mods/cc in ?
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

I have this issue only in one save. In another save, I can travel to the vacation lot without any problems. I tried again with a new “The Sims 4” folder, but I still get an endless loading screen. I had CC/mods in the save where the issue occurs, but I have removed the Mods folder now, and I don’t have any exception files.

I had a backup save from before my Sims went on vacation two weeks ago, and everything worked fine in that save. Now, when I load this version from April 23rd, which I saved right before the trip my Sims took in the newer version of the save, I also get an infinite loading screen when trying to travel.

1. I renamed my current game folder to “The Sims 4_old,” which caused the game to generate a new folder. And then I moved my problem save into the new folder. There were no mods or CC installed. Using the Sim’s phone, I planned a trip to a Custom Venue added by the developers, but I still got an infinite loading screen.
2. I found a version of the save from a year ago and repeated the same steps as in point 1, but the result was the same: infinite loading.
3. I removed the expansion pack (EP20) from the game, launched the game, and saved a new version of the save file. Then I reinstalled the expansion, loaded the new save version, and tried planning a trip again, but I still got an infinite loading screen.
I don’t know what happened. I had previously traveled to Gibbi Point using the “Adventure Awaits” expansion feature, and everything worked perfectly. I always keep my mods updated. How can I fix this? I tried sending different households to different Custom Venue lots through the trip planning feature, and every single time I got an infinite loading screen. I waited about 20 minutes before force-closing the game because it clearly was not going to load. I’m not getting any errors in the LastException files or anything like that. Maybe I could send you my save file so you can take a look at it?

sure, I can take a look.
Just upload to googleDrive, onedrive or dropbox and DM me the link.

```If it says here that the schedule is coming through empty, it actually isn’t — it’s filled in, and I had already traveled to the selected venue before without changing anything.
By the way, the update didn’t help either. I still can’t schedule the trip.
Can I send a Google Drive file link here? I can’t message you in DM.
HI efalex01
you can of course send your link here but then it's public and anyone can use your save. If you're ok with that you can do that. I've also sent you a DM though so did you get that ? Just answer to that if you did. Click on the little envelope icon in the top corner.
I still can't reply
Very strange. Seems your DMs are restricted for some reason.
Just post the link here then.
