Active Careers: Error Code: 102:<various Numbers>

HI EyeOfLondon​ 

do you have any Sims in an active career ? This error code was reported before but the console ones tend to be more generic.

Do you have the issue for all families or just a specific one ?

crinrict​ There is a Sim in the current household in the Detective career. I tried loading in to an unplayed household and that actually works. So I think it is just the one household. I’ve uninstalled the game and reinstalled, and it was still doing the same thing. There are no other save files that I have, just the current one.

Try inviting the Sim that's in the detective career over and see if you can load the Sim afterwards.

Like: Load a family that knows the Sim, invite Sim.

crinrict​ It works now. I’ve managed to quit the Sim’s detective career through the inviting suggestion you made, now that the Sim is unemployed I’ve switched over to that household and now I'm not getting the error message or being booted back to the residential worlds. Must be an active careers bug.

Ran into this error code a few times today while playing. no CC or mods

Started playing with a new sim as a police officer. ran into two different errors when trying to return to the police station after collecting evidence. 

first one: error code 102:fd6fe776:7f43fb5c

second one: error code 102:ead1149:e05c4b3d

hopefully there isn't a typo. it wanted me to relaunch both times. first time i was able to bypass relaunch and just play for a different sim family, then switch back to the one i was playing. the game play was apparently saved. this second time i exited for good. i did notice some other glitchy things, but know there is a new event coming up so i chalked it up to that.
