Aspirations jumping back and forwards

I've been having an issue recently where if I complete a single line of an aspiration it will either progress me way forwards or go backwards with my progress and it hasn't happened before. I play through the ea app on mac. No cc, no mods. My game is fully updated and I have also tried repairing my game but it keeps happening.
