[BH] Hobby-White board vanished and can‘t be placed (Script Call Failed)

i’ve never used mods, i play on pc and i have the same issue.  the problem didn’t happen till after the game update. “Script call fail” pops up when u try to place it, and existing whiteboards go to household inventory, and you can’t buy one.

I play on PS5 and this is happening to me since the update on July 1st. I can choose the whiteboard from the catalog, but when I try to place it, I get an error that reads 'script call failed.' It's definitely missing from any lot that it was previously placed on.

I just bought businesses and hobbies during the sale (2 days ago) and I set up a rooftop garden academy (2nd floor greenhouse) and I was able to teach classes on gardening all day yesterday but today when I logged in, the whiteboard was missing. I found it in the household inventory but it wouldn't let me place it. Script Call Failed Error. Additionally, it allowed me to sell back 3.00 strawberries in my HH inventory for $45 each, which was really nice. I closed out and performed regular troubleshooting steps with Google Gemini, saved my Electronic Arts folder, repaired the Sims 4 game, made sure mods are disabled. Only one weird thing... the script mods is enabled with a checkmark but greyed out so I can't uncheck it and it says on the tool tip that it's disabled despite the checkmark. That said, I reloaded my game and tried to purchase I new whiteboard and it still gave the same error. Gemini stated this is a known issue and that I should report it here in these forums to lend my voice to the issue.

The hobby whiteboard was sent back to my sims household inventory and keeps giving an "script calling error" and poofing back into inventory when trying to place it. Anyone else? Another update bug?

Me too. I'm on PC and after updating the hobby board disappeared and now I cant place it because of "Script Call Failed". I deleted all CC, had no mods installed, repaired my game and even tried on a different save just incase the save may have been corrupted. Nothing will fix the problem.

I think its because of the new update.

I'm having the same issue and also another issue. I've been having is some of my items are missing but they're in my inventory playstation player here after the current update and after the update for console, some of my packs and expansion packs don't have items, even though I have them and I bought all of them so I restored the the license, but I had to do it twice and I had to delete the game and redownload it
