Retail lots won't stay open after I switch households, I'll try to visit as a customer but as soon as I switch households and return to the store it closes. It won't let me purchase anything and the customers start leaving along with the business owner.
This is happening to me too. One of my families owns a vet clinic. I played them and opened the clinic, then as soon as I tried to switch households and visit the vet as a customer, it is closed and nobody shows up. So Retail/vet clinics are now unplayable as anyone other than the owner.
Did some research and found this video super helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrhvMKNRbHY requires a mod to fix this permanently but from what I understand the lot itself was corrupted by the infamous For Rent update/patch fix thing. If you don't want to use the mod she said you could place it on a different lot and it should work then. But if you want it on the current lot it's on, the mod may be necessary
