Also if you have two caregivers in a household, they will constantly interrupt each other's interaction queues with the automatic 'check infant' interaction. In my game, cancelling interactions doesn't always work reliably so it's a nightmare.
For example, if you have a mother sim holding an infant with needs in the red, the father sim automatically gets a 'check infant' interaction. This interrupts the interation queue for the mother sim so intead of taking care of the need, she's forced to put the baby down on the floor so the father sim can carry out the 'check infant' interaction. By the time the father sim has picked the baby up and carried out the interaction, the mother sim will also have had the 'check infant' interaction triggered, and will again interrupt the interaction queue before the need can be taken care of. There's an endless loop of this and turning autonomy off doesn't work, to stop it you have to lock the other parent out of the room.
