EA has implemented a non-fix for this. This means that the items are no invisible (most of them) but still there. The overlapping festivals seem fixed but the objects are not....
Ideas
I have no way to send saves easily but if anyone can please do since more saves the better. Applies to all bugs that need saves. The bug is the same only it doesn't have invisible objects and it happens when your in the same subhood as a apartment, dorm or r-rental and then travel, quit or things that involve loading screens. You don't have to be on the lot. Also collectables and wild plants that are suppose to in spots normally also disappear in a subhood with those lots after loading screens since they are now in a inaccessible inventory which you can see if you open your save in s4s and follow the guide by crinrict linked on the main post of this bug report. That's all the info I can give. Hopefully that helps.
