It doesn't always happen but I've notcied that when my Sims go to bed and the clock does the ultra fast speed, it seems to get stuck at 3am or roughly around that time for a few real time seconds. The Sims needs still continue to increase/decrease and quite often they end up waking up at 4-5am.

Are the Sims also frozen ? You say they wake up after a while. Is that with the clock still frozen and then they go about their business with the stuck clock or does it just unstick ?

Neither of these threads seem to be related to my issue. I will send my Sim to sleep, the clock will automatically speed up really fast when the Sim is asleep and then around 3am the clock seems like it is still fast forwarding but the clock stays stuck on 3:10am for a few real time seconds. Sims needs still change during this time and my Sim ends up having a full Energy bar much earlier than normal and this causes them to automatically wake up at like 4-5am.
I think what you are reporting is just a lag with the clock. Does it correct itself or are you Sims then going to work at the wrong time ?

I'm experiencing the same as the original post, but it's not about Sims getting stuck as mentioned by the mod, it is specifically when they sleep that sometimes the clock/time indicator makes the 3x speed animation but not moving past 3:10 or 3:30 for a while.

Does the clock go back to normal or is it just a lag issue ?
I think I've seen what you are describing but it's usually just a hang with the clock and corrects itself for me so a video would be good.
Sure, here you have a clip from sleep time until she woke up. I don't know what happened around 2:15 that the clock went to 1x again, but the most noticeable lag in the clock animation occurs during the 2 to 3 am interval.

thank you for the video. Yeah that looks like clock lags. There's a lot of events firing during the night and sometimes that can lag the clock.
