I am up to "Report Back to Emit" and the social is not showing up as an option for any of my 4 (super) sims, all of which have introduced themselves to him already.
I've tried saving, going into another household, saving, then going back. I've tried traveling (from Library to back home, then inviting him over to the lot) and that didn't make a difference.
The option is simply not showing up.
I'm going to turn off all mods & shut down the game & try again another day.
I really, REALLY hate the time-limited events. Just give us the content for free or make it into another of your horrible, overpriced Kits. I've literally had to make an entire new save with Super Sims downloaded from the gallery just to try to breeze through these annoying quests in order to obtain one or two items I actually want - I hate it.
I feel like I'm doing frustrating, glitchy admin rather than playing a game I love.... :(
(Which especially sucks since I already have so much life admin at the moment, and sims is supposed to be my BREAK from it!)

I turned off all mods/CC, relaunched and tried again and I cannot find the option to "report back" in ANY of the socials (checked all menus & tried w multiple sims).
So I can't progress at all >:(
It should be on the top level
Could you try deleting the accountDataDB.package. I don't know for sure how much of the progress it resets when you do though
I have tried doing that, which reset it one quest stage to "refresh memory on sims archives", but after I re-completed that stage the report to emit still didn't show.
Then I tried shutting the game, deleting the accountDataDB.package again & starting a fresh save to try again, which also only reset it to "refresh memory on sims archive".
Once I refreshed his memory, I then traveled to the park to meet Emit, introduced myself w the basic friendly intro, and then was able to finally report back to him.
Tell EA they are welcome for me doing their Beta testing for them... :/

Can't I just get the items credited to my account? I own almost every single DLC & have been playing since release. I deserve that much minimal customer service :(
I hate these quests sooooo, so so so so much SIGH :(((
