I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

Crashes on Mainmenu

Hello, I seem to have the same problem. There was an update two days ago, I'm playing through Steam and the updates are downloading automatically. Today I tried to turn the game on for the first time, but I can't even get to the main menu.
The game loads for a few seconds and then crashes. There's no error message, I'm just back on the desktop and there's a Last Crash file in my folder.
This happens regardless of whether I have mods in the game or not. I took them out and still the game crashes a few seconds after turning it on. I've never had this happen before either, this is a first.
I don't know what to do. If it's not the mods fault, then I guess it really is the update? We may have to wait for some other patch update, that would be the better case. I dread the thought of having to delete my saved games, that would destroy me.
I see the discussion stopped here two days ago. Any progress, please? Thank you.

We're investigating the issue now, and there are steps included in this thread that have been resolving the issue for most players in the meantime, there shouldn't be any reason to delete your saves.

Has there been any update in this issue? As I am still experiencing game crashing on start up and have tried the above method. My original saves just will not work and crashes every time I try to load. Any info you have would be highly appreciated thank you
