Hello EA Support Team,
I am writing to report multiple critical bugs that make the game completely unplayable. I am requesting an urgent fix or a refund.
**BUG #1 – Household inventory items not usable**
The household inventory contains ingredients and crafting materials, but the Sim is unable to perform any related actions — including cooking, making flower arrangements, completing flower-related tasks/aspirations, crafting items, making upgrades, or brewing potions. These interactions are entirely broken.
**BUG #2 – Washing machine broken and non-functional**
The washing machine no longer works as an appliance. It functions only as a decorative object and cannot be interacted with.
**BUG #3 – Sim stuck in emotion loop every 3 seconds**
The Sim repeatedly cycles between happy and sad states every ~3 seconds, triggered by the lot value being at or below §250. This loop is infinite and cannot be interrupted, making it impossible to control the Sim or play the game normally. The actual lot value is over §300 — I continued earning money and purchasing new items, but the game still registers the lot as §250 and keeps triggering the same emotional reaction in an endless loop. Nothing breaks the cycle.
**BUG #4 – Erratic and uncontrollable emotions for all Sims**
All Sims in the household are rapidly and randomly switching between happy and sad moods without any in-game cause. The mood swings are constant and non-stop.
**BUG #5 – Game crashes, freezes, and force-quits**
The game frequently crashes, freezes, or shuts down on its own during normal gameplay.
**Troubleshooting steps already taken (nothing helped):**
- Restarted the game and the Mac
- No mods installed
- Evicted and re-placed Sims, switched to different households
- Started a brand new save file
- Cleared the game cache
**Additional context:**
In March, there were a few minor bugs, but the game was still playable. After the most recent update, the game has become completely unplayable. Since the issues started with an update and no troubleshooting has resolved them, I am requesting either an immediate fix or a full refund.
