Recently i started playing the freelancer-paranormal investigation career. Whenever i send my sim alone on the gig, the performance bar is moving gradually towards “excellent”. From one gig only, even if i select the “work hard” option, is not possible to reach the “excellent” yellow check mark - this is logical. But! when the gig completes and my sim comes back, even if the yellow check mark is not reached, the performance bar returns back to “average”. With this issue there is a lack of information if i achieved the first milestone of the freelancer career and i moved to the next. My gig payment is getting higher though as if this have already happened, but i have never received the freelancer badge as if it haven’t, so this is contradictory.
This issue is happening in multiple careers while i am playing with other households on my game in other worlds.

Hi everyone, I’m having a persistent issue with the Military career in The Sims 4 and I can’t fix it no matter what I try.
*The problem:*
While my Sim is at work, the performance bar increases normally. But as soon as they return home, the performance bar resets or drops back each time. This happens every single workday.*What I’ve tried:*
Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game
Deleting the “The Sims 4” folder in Documents
Starting with a completely fresh save
Removing all mods and CC (tested on 100% vanilla game)
Repairing the game through EA App
Resetting cache files
Testing different Sims and different save filesThe issue still happens even in a brand-new save with no mods installed.
*Additional notes:*
Daily tasks appear to be completed, but the performance still resets.
The issue only affects the Military career. Other careers work normally.
Performance increases correctly while the Sim is at work, but the moment they come home it drops back.Has anyone else experienced this recently, or is there a known bug with the Military career? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks! - sisialesia3 months agoSeasoned Observer
This same thing just started happening to me too. My sim cannot get promoted or any raises. The arrow also resets to “average” every day. I tried without mods on a fresh save and still had the problem.
