[FR] Every tenant event successfully resolved is instead treated as a failure

I am still having this issue, I bought the pack at christmas when it was on sale but haven't been able to access my PC til this last week and everytime I go to a unit to resolve the problem I am told nothing was done to resolve the issue and my unit grade lowers. I would like to see this issue fixed seeing as this has clearly been a problem for months and this pack is very interesting and a fun idea but this bug completely ruins it :(

I am having this issue too, even when I try different ways to solve the events.

Still happens , i cant complete aspiration due to this also as it requires me to complete a maintanence event which fails regardless what it is ....

fix them all and instantly comes up nothing was done - rating went down .. makes the whole aspect of for rent pointless

I own a rental property. When tenants call about problems, I can't complete them. I fix their problem but the system doesn't note that I've completed it. After several "failed", they cancel the agreement and move.

Like all the other 200 commenters, I am also having this issue. For Rent seems to be VERY BUGGY! This is really disappointing. crinrict​ Can you provide any updates to this? It looks like several users have provided saves to help debug the issue. 

Another scam pack that breaks the game along with other glitches.  Another pack that I explicitly discourage others from buying as it is a complete waste of their money.  I regret my investment and if I could go back in time I would not purchase unless these issues were resolved.  It is incredibly disappointing as I was extremely excited for this pack, IF it worked I would be suggesting it to everyone.

Just bought for rent and I am having the same issue on PC. I have had 4 different events now. I fix or replace item or confront ghost and still it says I failed and rating drops. 

Same issue, PC, no mods. Done multiple tenant events successfully treated as failure. Save file attached. So far had the following:

• Right before last save: Bug infestation - used "stomp" vs fumigation
• Trash overload
• Water leak

My sims are currently the landlords, however they were previously tenants at a pre-built property and could not resolve tenant events successfully either.

  Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Either be a tenant or a landlord and attempt to resolve a tenant event with the non-monetary option (i.e stomp bugs vs fumigate)
  What happens when the bug occurs? Immediately after event is completed by sims, notification says event was failed and unit rating will go down. 
  What do you expect to see? The system generates a notification that I have resolved the issue successfully. 
  Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
  Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Other Notes in case they are relevant:

• Sims 4 originally "purchased" through Steam (Steam icon in EA launcher)
• Some packs purchased through Steam some through EA launcher
• Account has been logged into several computers over the years so saves on multiple computers
