Game crashes before loading main menu

Hey, I followed the instructions in the pinned post by renaming the sims 4 folder to the sims 4_old and repairing the game through the ea app then once i tried to load the game it simply crashed. Any assistance would be really appreciated !

Hey, thanks for getting back to me! Yes, it is DX11, but I did some troubleshooting on my own, and was able to get the game to load and import my save files. However, when placing down a lot from the gallery, it generated an error message then my game crashed which started this dilemma at the beginning. I suspect it was a corrupted lot, so consider this problem solved. Thank you!

Your DxDiag doesn't show any issues which is usually a bit odd.

Are you running the game in DX11 ? You can find out from your version number on the main screen.
