Game freezes when getting married

When I try to get my sims married I get a notification that says they're getting married but my game just ends up freezing and they're not able to move so I have to keep restarting I don't play with mods so I really don't know what the issue is.

According to Discord this bug will be solved in a small update coming tomorrow :)

So, this won't let me add any videos, but it would be easier to explain to you if you could see the video capture. Essentially, I was trying to play my game after EA's app updated My Sims 4 for Royalty (my second attempt at playing, might I add), which I also don't have.  And it was working fine for maybe the first 10 or so minutes until I switched lots to another household I was playing as and I was trying to have one of them propose because for some reason the relationship bits disappeared from that household after the update, and now I have to use MCC to like manually add them back in except for the ones that it won't let me. So, I have to go through the process of having them get married again.

But I was trying to have one of my sims proposed to the other one, and then suddenly the game stopped working/ responding to anything. I can't click the sims, I can't click the objects. Hovering over anything does absolutely nothing except tell me what the names are, and their current Relationship level to whoever I'm currently on, but I can't click them. Even when I pause the game, they're still moving/ buffering for the last thing that I had them doing. 

The only thing that I can click on that responds are is the side menu where you can see the Needs and relationship menu and all that other stuff. I can't even switch to another Sim. And if I try to exit the game, it's probably going to stop saving while I'm trying to leave and I'll have to force it shut like I did the last time. 

It hasn't produced any crash reports or error messages. MCC hasn't even reported anything, it's just all stopped working.

Sounds like the marriage freeze issue but checking with a CM if it's the same if you just propose.

Since you are using mods/cc though, please test withtout.

I really hope it will repair all the freezing. Because it is happening in my game without wedding. Just playing, my sim sleeping because it is midnight and suddenly clocks stop and the game is forzen 😶

Resolved an issue found in some save files where the game would freeze when Sims are getting married.

Fixed in update 1.121.372/2.30
