Grim stuck

After a sim dies and Grim reaps them he doesn’t leave. Resetting the sims involved doesn’t help and the only thing that gets rid of him is adding him to family then deleting him or removing from household. However he should just leave after reaping a sim.

Yeah, would be nice if there was an option to create tombstones if the game glitches.

Unfortunately I don't know of a way to reset the reaper on console if you want to keep your achievements but you can try resetting the dead Sim with resetsim <firstname> <lastname>. That shouldn't disable your achievements since it doesn't' need testing cheats.

This might work to unstuck the situation.

Did he already die again to see if it works now ?

I don’t have any back ups unfortunately, i had a spellcaster sim bring my sim back to life because it’s important to me for the rest of my sims to have a headstone to grieve at etc. 

One of my sims died and grim just stood there and would not reap his body. There was a sims body on my floor and grim did not do anything about it. I finally made one of my sims leave the lot and come back, once we were back on the lot i had the usual pop up on if the sim wanted to be free roaming or playable. I chose playable. My ghost had his funeral etc and we just can’t locate his headstone/urn. It isn’t on the households lot where he passed, it isn’t in the household inventory, it isn’t in anyone’s inventory, it is not at any graveyard. 

Console, so no mods or cc. Game is fully updated. 

I noticed when playing with a sim family that whenever someone died the grim reaper would be stuck on my lot and and I can't save or build mode to try and put something infront to make them move "that normally works" and the only way I could get it to work is if I used a cheat which while playing a scenario (rags to riches) I try not to cheat. Not sure if it was just my game.
