I kept ordering grocery deliveries and couldn't find the bag to unload. The last time it happened I watched the delivery person more closely and realized the bag was simply disappearing after my Sim accepted delivery. I added him to my family and checked his inventory and sure enough, there are 5 grocery bags in his inventory from the failed deliveries. He's just hoarding them instead of delivering them.
There is a table not far from the door where he used to come in and leave it, and it's clear. Now, my Sim accepts the delivery and the bag simply disappears into his inventory. He doesn't even come in. I'll clear some other spaces and see if that helps though.
Could you test if the same happens on another lot ?
Apparently it's specific to that lot. I ordered a delivery in another house and he walked right in and set it down on a table. I guess I'll do some remodeling in the first house and see if I can create more space he'll go to. Thanks for the help.
Do you have the private dwelling lot trait on the other lot ? There was an issue with that although it should be fixed.
No it doesn't. After another failed delivery, I placed an empty end table right by the door and he delivered the groceries to that. So it's probably some thing I'm not seeing, like the game has decided that one of the chairs or the candles in the center of the table are in the way. But at least I know that grocery delivery itself is fine. I should have just tried a few more things before reporting. I'm ok with the end table by the door. shrug Thank you for your help.
