Could you please provide the following information
Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.- Does this happen on an existing save only or also if you test a new one ?

I posted about this too but I don't see it yet on here...but I had the same issues on a vanilla game. Infants would not sleep in the crib at all in my case....I thought it was related to the "happy" mood buff but when he was "fine" he still wouldn't either. I've been having to use the playmats at night instead now.
I only play the Base game. No mods or anything else. How would I test a new save? You mean start a new family who proceeds to have a baby? That takes some time for me.
Just create a household with an infant in it in a new game! That will work. I'm going to attempt that, too.
Happens in new saves too.
