Ideas
When an infant is in a crib and tries to go night night, the action sometimes does nothing. The infant just lays there. The issue is that the circle around the action should start going around, but this does not happen. The solution is to manually start a new 'try go night night', hoping that this will have the circle.
I'd say this happens around 50% of the time and it does not matter whether the action starts automatically (after putting the infant to bed) or manually.
I'm encountering the same problem, even though it worked fine before the May 14, 2026 update.
You have to restart the "try to go to sleep" task directly from the baby and wait for it to finish before you can switch characters. It's an annoying bug because if you're not careful, the child can be taken away.
