Mine is still spawning off the lot and I have to run over to get them every time. It takes two in-game hours to bring these infants back to the house. Every time I open the game and every time my adult sim travels this happens. I have no mods or customization - entirely vanilla - and I'm playing on the PS5.
I've had instances where the infants spawned off the lot and were invisible. This typically happens in households my sim visits that has infants.
