This same issue is happening to me. Every time my sim(s) leave the lot and send the infant to daycare, when I return the infant is on the sidewalk across the street behind the house.
No cc or mods. Playing single young adult and so far one infant at a time. First infant glitched and had to age her to toddler asap, but then I repaired the game and the younger brother is playing just fine (gaining milestones rapidly) but the issue with him ending up on the sidewalk is happening post-repair.
I just started playing about 2 days ago for the first time since late 2023. Tonight purchased "growing together" and this issue has been happening before and after that purchase.
