Currently having this issue after the most recent update on 2/25. Only happens with certain couples. No Mods/CC, tried repairing game, resetting sims, changing lots, etc.
Has the couple in question been together romantically since they were teens? This seems to be the target. I had to remove the relationship between my YA married couple, then build it back again. I do use mods, so I used MCCC, which made it a quick fix. The other problem was the female Sim had no woohoo checked on her romance profile.
After this latest patch, however, this couple was back to resetting themselves again, even after the problem had been solved. I went through the steps and then had to work hard at the entire relationship, even after I restored it. Hm. Then I recalled they can't woohoo until they go on a date. I later realized that First Kiss is also key. Then, since it was taking forever and I've had to put a pause on writing the updates of what's going on, I did a game repair. I also had to clear their marriage, with MCCC. After that, all was good again.
Only now, I can't get my game to open. Oh, the computer thinks it's open, but there is nothing on screen, nor is the EA App pinned to my menu bar, like normal. Sheesh. I spent half a day on this problem, too. Never did solve it. I guess I should get off of the forums to see if I can't affect a fix to this. And oh, goody.

I haven't used mods before but have been considering MCCC for situations like this. I ended up switching over to another family in the save but I'll have to go back and check again.
I have found the MCCC mod to be invaluable in my game. Yes, it's a bit complicated to use. I make certain I take notes so I can find the path to whatever command I'm looking for, but then again, I'm almost 70 years old, too and Sims is the only real video game I've played. All that to say, I'm not all that mod savvy. Best of luck.
Oh, and I had the date wrong on the upcoming patch. It's tomorrow! The Live Steam was set for Friday, my bad.
