I've been having this same issue! I'm also unable to have my sims do multiple physical intimacy interactions in a row without them resetting and the romantic satisfaction UI is completely gone. No mods or cc.
I’m trying the method crinrict commented and will let you know if it helps, if so it may help your problem too
