My sims got married, had all the marriage buffs. I entered create a sim via the custom tattoo option. Upon exiting CAS my sims got a pop up that they were now the partners of each other. They had to get remarried. Then I went to plan their outfits and the same thing happened. No mods or custom content. Playing on PC.

did this happen while the wedding was still in progress or just afterwards ?

The couple eloped after the updated. No wedding was actually held. They got the marriage buffs and a marriage certificate and the sim moved in (as he wasn't part of the household). Then the issue started when the woman of the marriage went to do a custom tattoo and then again when I went to plan the man's outfits. Each time they married they just eloped, received the marriage buffs and a marriage certificate. I can test later on another save.
Would be intersting if it also happens to already married couples.
I gave this a short test with eloping (minus the move in cause they lived together already) and did not see this message.
It did not happen to a previously married couple (who had a wedding)and already lived together but happened to another couple I eloped and moved in together (post update). This happened on a different save file than the one above. I did not get the pop up that they were partners but they are no longer married. I visited the tattoo parlor in Nordhaven, the female that just got married gave a custom tattoo to another household member (her dad). Upon exiting CAS, everyone was invisible (the portraits were grayed out-like they were off the lot). I had to bring a different household member to the lot and then travel back home. Upon arriving home, the female had the option to propose to her "husband that was no longer her husband". I married again and went to a mirror to plan outfits and they were no longer married upon exiting. I'm not sure if the issue is moving in or the custom tattoos.

My sims got married and it keeps resetting to romantic partner. I continue to have the option to propose even after being married. When I click on my sims profile it reverts back to partner instead of spouse.

Did you also go to CAS ?
Moved my Sim out before getting married and it was fine though mine didn't have the ring moodlet ? Is that from the engagement ?
Yes I tried CAS as well and it still reverts back
This is happening to my sims too. When I go to CAS to change an outfit the marriage disappears
I had both the engaged ring moodlet and the married ring moodlet after their wedding prior to entering create a sim for the custom tattoos and prior to planning their outfits when their marriage deletes. They still had those moodlets but we're no longer married or engaged.
