Hello, I’ve been playing sims 4 on Xbox 1 since 2015 and I haven’t been able to to play the game since an update in 2022 I’ve been waiting to see if it ever starts working again but it hasn’t I’ve done all the troubleshooting there is to do and still nothing unfortunately I’ve lost all my saved game data and all I’m left with is all my expensive expansion packs that I can’t even play I hope someone can fix this reading the other post it doesn’t look like this happened to anyone else
What I’m experiencing is, every time I create a new sim and go to place them in the world the whole game crashes and it never saves the sim I just made the whole game just glitches out then freezes and takes me back to my Home Screen.
Please fix this issue so I can play the game again I don’t want all the money I spent on expansion packs to go to waste

Ever since the newest update my game keeps freezing making it borderline unplayable. I will try to speed up or unpause and it will stop for 3 seconds and continue same thing when I switch through people on the household. I'm on xbox.

When using CAS on my ps5, when switching between different detail menus such as the name and traits section or face details to body details the game cursor will freeze and will not allow you to select any options, only allowing you to close the game completely from the playstation menu. This has happened around 5 times since playing last night.

For the past month my game will not always save 😭
When i click save game, it jumps back to main menu and if i continue trying to save the game freezeIm playing on playstation 4 and Sims4 is the only game that’s installed on my console
I tried to uninstall sims and delete my save files but none workedI have all the updates on sims and ps4 updates

I don't have the Sims 4 : For Rent expansion pack but I still had a save corruption issue. I play on PS4 and for some time now I have been having issues saving, randomly when saving my game crashes, whether I have played it for a few minutes or a few hours, I report the issue every time it happens. And recently when I wanted to save, I got a message that my save had been corrupted and after restarting the automatic game, I noticed that my entire personal gallery with all my creations, both terrains and families, had been deleted, I only had the basic Maxis creations left in my library that we have at the very beginning of the game. I've been playing The Sims 4 for 5/6 years, with the same game, that's about 15 generations of Sims from the same family, with homes and lots that I created and that I save in my gallery for 5/6 years with each new generation... So I lost a fifteen lots (maybe even more) and double or even triple the number of households because I was also saving my main Sim's siblings at each generation.
Sorry for my broken English. I had to use a translator because I'm really bad at it.

Seems like consule problem, you can attached a usb or external drive aswell to make a backup. But honestly no clue how to reload it there. Hopefully someone else can answer that.
Since you are ps player, do you own the pack sims castaway aswell? Had so much fun playing that one, still have and also the console.

When I’m in build mode, after I have deleted a certain amount of things from my lot, I can no longer delete anything else nor can I move anything to inventory, nor can I save my game. This has been going on for weeks. I even moved to a whole New World and a whole new lot and it is happening again on this one. This started after the previous update before the 3 packs were released.

Is anyone out there able to play the game on the ps5 right now? I haven't been able to and it's quite worrying, I've tried all the steps they suggest and nothing changes. Am I the only one?
