  • Hi tiannabbxo

at which point did you remove your mods/cc ? Did you move the mods folder to the desktop and delete the localthumbcache file ?

If you start a new save with no mods/cc, does the same happen ? Removing the mods won't make Sims that are already generated get removed so were new ones created after you removed them ?

hello! thank you for getting back to me i really appreciate it,

If i start a new save with no mods or cc im still having the same issue. I moved my mods folder out entirely cleared all my cache files ( i regularly do) and its still happening, i thought it could of been a previous update so i only started using townies that were recently uploaded to the gallery but it’s still happening.

I removed my mods/cc once i started seeing  townies who don’t have large eyes suddenly having that bug (caliantes) i did notice when i made a sim with all my mods and cc i placed her in a new save and the game removed the body preset and she had large eyes so i went through and deleted sliders/presets but then when i placed her sim again in the household so she was duplicated the new sim was completely fine! this is happening to just random townies

let me know if you need anymore information

    Try the following

    - Close the game
    - Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    - Repair the game
    - Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
    - Start a new save game
    - Check if you still have the error
    - Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Oh, you haven't updated yet ?

Unfortunately bug reports are only valid on updated games. I'm moving this to game place and we can revisit this when you're ready to update.
