Packs/Worlds showing as deactivated in-game/Not active after purchase

I bought the dine out pack for sims 4 today and it downloaded fine, but when i turn my game on the pack wasnt showing up so i looked on the marketplace and it says its owned but disabled? ive tried everything except uninstall the game. i also cant seem to figure out how to get a refund for it either? anyone have any tips to either get the pack to work or get a refund? thanks!

you are a life saver, I just had the same issue with some expansion packs I purchased today. Thank you! It must've been so frustrating for you to have to try everything to get them working😭

Hello. I have the same issue as the OP and I just tried what you said, and it didn't work. I bought and downloaded Adventure Awaits today but I cannot open the world or access anything from the pack even after all the trouble shooting. I deleted the folder EP20 and redownloaded. Still not working. I repaired my game too. 

Same issue. I have:

• Restarted computer and EA app
• Run App Recovery
• Uninstalled and reinstalled pack
• Repaired game

Same thing happened for me, just with the For Rent expansion.

I bought Adventure Awaits last night, the payment went through and I've installed it on the EA app. When I go to my current save, the world says i own it, but it's not installed on my PC - the clothing and build items are not available at all. I made a new save with no mods, the same thing happened. I've repaired the game, restarted my pc, and I have uninstalled Adventure Awaits and reinstalled again. Please help!!!!

Edit: I deleted Malware Bytes from my PC and allowed Sim4 through Windows Defender - I thought that worked, but it just gave me the notification  that I had downloaded the pack. I think my problem is that my game is unable to access the marketplace/connect online. When I click "connect" it just loads for a long time and tries to connect but can't.

Have you been able to fix it. Mine is doing the same thing .

I think my game runs through Steam, but I bought three expansion packs through EA and now I can't connect them to Steam.

They don't show up on Steam or in the game. But EA says I bought and downloaded them.

I need help. I wanted to play :(

I did the same!!!! Just came to write that to you!! I saw it in another sub! I have never experienced something like that!
