Hello,
I am having an issue with my purchased packs in The Sims 4.
I bought several packs through the EA App, and they appear as “Installed” in the launcher. However, in the game, the content does not show up. When I try to access the worlds from these packs, I get the message: “World not installed. When this pack has finished downloading restart The Sims 4 to install it.”
I have already tried the following steps:
• Restarting the game and EA App
• Repairing the game
• Clearing cache files
• Reinstalling one pack to test
Despite this, the packs still do not appear in-game.
It seems like the EA App shows the packs as installed, but they are not actually being recognized or installed properly in the game.
Could you please help me fix this issue?
Thank you.

I recently bought a bundle with add ons for my sims 4 game. but they won't show up in the game. on the ea app on my account it says they are installed (I have un installed them and reinstalled them a couple of times and still they don't show up). my sims game recognise that I do own them but it says they aren't installed (they are). I have also repaired the game and restarted my Mac but still it won't show up in the game.

I opened up my game after the recent big updates and some of my DLC is not showing up in game. I have all expansion packs except the last 3 and most of the other packs.
I noticed when I was looking for specific flooring and the 'wood floors' category was waaaayyy smaller. I usually have tons of options from different packs.
I do use mods but updated them.
What is the fix for this?
Thanks!

You'll most likely have to activate the packs by going to the market place-> my collection-> pack selection and make sure everything is selected and click activate. You'll be prompted to restart the game, click the tick. Then wait for the game to open up again and the packs should work!

I'm having the same issue with the For Rent pack not showing up in steam but showing in EA app as purchased.
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased some packs (including High school years, home chef hustle, and laundry day). In the EA App, it says they are installed but when I open the game, they do not appear at all. there are no buttons or content related to them. I tried already everything to fix this.
I cleared the EA cache
I repaired the game files
I removed my mods folder completely and tested on a clean game.
I even reinstalled the EA app and ran it as administrator.
Nothing worked. Has anyone experienced this or found a solution>
thank you!

I have several add-on packs that I use in my Sims 4 game play worlds. Yesterday I was mid-game when I received an email notification, I tried to get rid of the notification but instead I was kicked out of the game and into my email. When I logged back into Sims 4, all except one of my add-ons were "deactivated".
I restarted my laptop several times, I logged in and out of the Sims 4 several times, I hit the repair button a dozen times. I even uninstalled all the packs and redownloaded them. None of this worked. All my packs are still deactivated. I tried to delete the EA App and the Sims 4 from my mac, and I wasn't able to do so.
Please help, I would really like to keep using the worlds I've been playing with the packs I've paid for.

IS PACK SELECTION GREYED OUT? I found the answer!! I was accessing marketplace when I was already in the game, not at the screen that shows right after the game is launched. When the game opens, do not click anything but marketplace which is at the top of the screen. Pack selection will be available to click in this screen!

here to say the same thing! it says that pack selection and storage management is done in the main menu but I'm not finding it

Looks like I MAYBE, figured it out.
I selected all packs. I hit confirm. I ignored the pop-up telling me to restart it. The game loaded without complaining. I continue to despise "fixing" things that aren't broken, and launching them too early.
