Packs/Worlds showing as deactivated in-game/Not active after purchase

Hello. I have the same issue as the OP and I just tried what you said, and it didn't work. I bought and downloaded Adventure Awaits today but I cannot open the world or access anything from the pack even after all the trouble shooting. I deleted the folder EP20 and redownloaded. Still not working. I repaired my game too. 

you are a life saver, I just had the same issue with some expansion packs I purchased today. Thank you! It must've been so frustrating for you to have to try everything to get them working😭

I bought the dine out pack for sims 4 today and it downloaded fine, but when i turn my game on the pack wasnt showing up so i looked on the marketplace and it says its owned but disabled? ive tried everything except uninstall the game. i also cant seem to figure out how to get a refund for it either? anyone have any tips to either get the pack to work or get a refund? thanks!

Same thing happened to me today! I updated the game, then purchased and installed AA and I can't open the world or access anything! I repaired my game, uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same! 

Same thing happened to me today with Adventure Awaits! I've never used CC or Mods so that's not the issue at all, it's something else. Probably the new update. 🙄

I tried to download a lot from the gallery. Tells me I have all of the packs for it but when I go to download it tells me I am missing stuff?? I own everything that was used to build this lot so why? Cannot we not do an update without making the game worse???

Also when I try to filter by packs that I own none of my kits are checked off. It looks like I own none of the kits when this is so not true! I own a lot of them. Fix the freaking game already, this is beyond ridiculous!!

Hey, you have to activate your new packs on the marketplace! I found this solution on another thread. Go to the marketplace and then my collection and then select the deactivated packs and it will ask you to restart the game and then those packs should work! My new one did! 

Hey all, I found a solution on another thread! We have to activate our new packs on the marketplace. Go there and then go to my collection. You'll see the deactivated ones and select them. Then the game will ask you to restart and click yes then after that the packs will work!
